ELA Classes for Grades 6th to 8th

Time: 2 to 4 pm (Incoming Grades 6th to 8th)

Dates: June 2nd to 6th, 9th to 13th, 16th to 20th, 23rd to 27th

           July 14th to 18th, 21st to 25th, 28th to Aug 1st

Fees: $325/week (10 hours)

  • Improves Reading Comprehension: Students analyze a wide range of texts, enhancing understanding and interpretation skills.

  • Strengthens Writing Skills: Focus on crafting essays, narratives, and persuasive pieces with clear structure and strong arguments.

  • Expands Vocabulary & Grammar: Builds a solid foundation in language mechanics and effective word usage.

  • Encourages Critical Thinking: Students engage in discussions and literary analysis to deepen reasoning and perspective.

  • Boosts Communication & Confidence: Emphasis on public speaking, presentations, and class participation to improve verbal expression.

  • ELA Classes for Grades 6–8 are designed to strengthen students’ reading, writing, and critical thinking skills through engaging texts and thought-provoking discussions. Students explore a variety of genres—fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama—while learning to analyze themes, characters, and literary techniques. Writing workshops help them develop strong essays, creative stories, and persuasive arguments. The classes also focus on grammar, vocabulary, and public speaking to build confidence and communication skills essential for academic success and beyond.
